Sony Corp is launching an update of its Android-compatible Smart Watch, by developing a Appetitometer …with a technology never imagined possible.

Besides all the computerized applications, the appetitometer  went beyond, creating a communication between the user and the device by tapping one sensor around the body, it can harvest data from the body, and display on the user’s profile. It immediately displays a basic metabolic panel measures sodium, potassium, chloride, bicarbonate, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), magnesium, creatinine, glucose, and sometimes includes calcium. It has a switch that by focusing on cholesterol levels can determine LDL and HDL cholesterol levels, as well as triglyceride levels. It also takes in consideration anything that was digested and it’s Chemstry-Fication in the body.  It also monitors carbon dioxide and oxygen levels related to pulmonary function, but it is also used to measure blood pH and bicarbonate levels for certain metabolic conditions. Whit a built in regular glucose test screen, the glucose tolerance test is done repeatedly to determine the rate at which glucose is processed by the body.

Sony went even beyond, and obtained the rights from a group of scientists who developed lab-on-a-chip that can diagnose diseases within 10 minutes without the use of external tubing and extra components. It used a Self-powered Integrated Microfluidic Blood Analysis System, and performed Liver Function Tests, Lead Test, Blood Culture, pre-natal, newborn screen test…you name it…The Appetitometer would give the results.

The most important function, however, was the indicator of appetite. It detailed what the blood needed as nutrients every 3 hours. It was done like a saliva test, where you would spit on a plastic-like material, place it on your smart watch to get better results. It would read any immediate intake.

Very soon it became the house doctor everyone needed. It could be re-set and used by various members of the family, as it would also indicate who was using what, and give important information of any changes on diet or lack of nutrients. It was eventually connected into a Global Medical system, where every data was transferred and filed.

Medicine jumped a high step with the Appetitometer, and Sony once again proved to be the most advanced in technology. Very soon Sony was involved with the pharmaceutical Industry deciding what was necessary for each lot of members.

Restaurant business also changed because it would measure its plates for proteins, sugar…and all nutrients, giving an exact count of calories each time it was served. No one was respecting the Appetitometer at all times, but it helped to prevent serious lack of nutrients of vitamins in the body, and people started to live up to 120 years.

Clothing Labels and Clothing Tags itch

Clothing Labels and Clothing Tags

 

Clothing labels are annoying in underwear and T-Shirts. They should be placed anywhere, but NOT in contact with our skin. I simply dislike them and I have no idea how to better express how bothersome they truly are.

Both, Labels and Tags have their importance as far as their existence, but it shouldn’t be located at the same place by all manufacturers. They are used to orient customers towards the actual materials used, the tailoring and production. They also are oriented to how things look and what people wear at certain times.  All that being said, Tags and Labels when placed by the neck, in the case of t-shirts, it makes the clothing feel uncomfortable, if not very bothersome. It seems that all manufacturers place them at the same spot.

I recommend a STAMP!!! On T-shirts… I am aware that most manufacturers of white T-Shirt are using stamps; therefore this message is not for them. However, I have not seen any changes on underwear. Some Manufacturers place a large Tag with a thick and cheap material, and it causes allergy. Besides my personal complaint about tags and labels, I know that women have their concern as well.

A Viable solution is to get rid of all labels and create a batch number stamped in the material in a very inconspicuous place. Like a CIN (Clothing Identification Number). This way everyone would do a search “on how to handle it”. Some manufacturer can go the extra step to give an adhesive (not attached) to the material, or on the plastic bag where it is wrapped.

I come from a generation where store made clothing were rare. Most of my garments were hand-made.

After the ‘explosion of manufactured clothing’, which is a good thing, I only have a problem with tags that cause allergy, or they are itchy due to the material and the amount of thread used to seam it into place.

ABUSIVE INTERNET and a VIABLE SOLUTION

ABUSIVE INTERNET  

There is nothing more annoying than having your “Inbox” filled with junk e-mails.  Although, we can place them into our junk mail folder or block the sender, it always comes back under a different sender’s name.  It simply never stops. It shouldn’t be this way!

Something else annoying about the internet abusive manners, is that the IP Number – (Internet Protocol #), of each computer leaves its print anywhere we visit, whether we like it or not. The internet cannot accept (complete) connection without an IP number. Every computer has an IP number, and there are programs that can read an IP and easily discover who uses that particular computer. Once we leave our print into one site, a program will find us, and immediately an email is generated about what we had visited.

Yesterday I visited a site to check about Blood Pressure medication, for I was concerned with my mother’s condition, who takes them. Five minutes later I received emails about blood pressure medication. I didn’t want to receive this information. Now, I know that there are programs that check my computer’s behavior.  

I would not be surprised if most web sites created by large organization have a camera automatically linked within its inscription, and this camera can see the user and identify by name.

Our privacy was given away from the moment we visited a web site and accept the rules and regulation of such a site. Most web sites have an agreement term, and they function mainly to collect data and information about users.

In despite of being watched through the internet, maybe even being filmed by the (application)program we use, I see no problems in being watched closely. I actually command this technological invention because it can pin point anyone who is acting erratically, or abusing of such a great communication tool.

I have no problems exchanging my security with my privacy. Please, have cameras all over town, have up to the minute satellite’s view of each town, and have it displayed for all of us to access. It is about time we have powerful machines that can watch our every movement, even inside our home, (if) when we are connected to the internet. New TV’s will be able to watch us  at the same time we watch them, for they will have a camera built in, connected with the internet, recording every moment of our existence, . So, why not make it legal to watch and see? As long as it refrains from my privacy of “wanting to be off line”, there is no problem in accepting to be filmed while on.

Let’s be realistic here!

We know that surveillances will go against our constitutional right, yet, how can we get security if we do not have eyes to see, and ears to hear? We need help from surveillances to pin point a criminal, or a sequence of events. Many crimes have been solved because it was on the camera. OK, I give away my privacy rights in exchange of my complete security. My privacy will happen only if I am not connected with the internet inside my home, or without my TV on. Will it ever be enough?  

No need to panic as far as cameras. Soon computers will be part of our sunglass, and our privacy will little by little be structured in this sense.

Now, in regards to e-mail’s invasion, a viable solution would be to create a law that prohibits companies of sending e-mails that cannot be answered by the recipient. This way, when we receive a link, we have a choice to thank the person who sent such a link, and at the same time to ask to be removed from such a listing. This communication must be filtered, added to the data base, and futures emails would be trashed before getting to the recipient. Today, if you ever respond to any advertising e-mail, you get it returned to you.

I am not interested in receiving emails about returning to school. I am not interested in receiving emails about insurance companies. I have the right to tell them to stop. I have the right to know who is sending it to me. I want the same rights given to whomever is sending me e-mails. I have the right to get identification from who is contacting me.  I have the right to know where it is coming from and whether I want it again in any shape or form. I do not want this type of communication from anyone, at this moment.  

Once I declare “I do have health insurance” it is settled and done. I do not want to receive every day an email about this offering, unless the sender is identified and can be answered personally.

I am tired of span e-mails generated by computers program that do not obey any concern of mine.

These programs are taking advantage of all of us, because they are forced to us through the social media, where we play a game and our information is sold, for in order to play a game, we accept their policy, without reading it. And the policy states our information will be shared.

Please, stop once and for all with junk emails that I refused. Give me a chance to systematically group each invitation email into categories, such as, health, education, entertainment, food, medication, diet, etc… etc… etc., and refuse them all in writing. So, when I have a serious problem, I can state my problem and be open to receive information.

I am asking to stop with E-mails relating to the categories I did not choose.   

It is easy to say – just ignore them! But when it comes at least 1000 per day, and in the midst of 1000 you will find one email that was actually of your interest, you will see that this is troublesome.  Imagine if you are away from your computer for two days. You then have 2000 emails to pick and glance and delete one by one, until you find one that is worth reading.

The junk email file doesn’t work. They use different sender, server, whatever they can come up with. Yet, I am only one, and I have the right to decide what I want to be placed on my box and the right to decline.

Stop sending me e-mails related to any site I visited.  I do not own a timeshare, therefore leave me alone!  I am not interested in finding out about sex offenders on my street through an originated span e-mails, that offer anything, but what it promises. I do not care about my credit report being altered, for it is something personal and I will deal with the credit bureau agency, and not a company which has a questioner to share with others providers to fill my e-mail box with more junk.

Yes, it is abusive! 

It is getting out of hand! These companies should be accountable for invading my privacy when I said that I was not interested. We know that the internet is a web; therefore, it is connected with a central. I want this central to store it. I want this central to be regulated by laws of privacy. I have no problems losing my privacy to a central. I will authorize my privacy to be revealed if I am involved in any criminal activities.

Who will regulate it? The Government!

Each Government will possess complete information of every individual. No problems so far. This information will be secure. If misused, a stiff fee will be charged from each and every individual or agency who obtained it. Why is it necessary? Because we, as taxpayers will win in the end. Imagine when technology makes it all a transparent. Everything is transparent and filmed, and recorded. The same way as we are today, from the perspective of our creator. Yet, from our own perspective, we will experience a world where people will not lie, live it alone commit crimes. An eye will be observing all there is and all we do.

How abusive is abusive?

Is it my inbox what is bothering me? How could any company advertise their products? if not by sending emails or communication directly to a prospective buyer. How can we make anyone stop advertising?

The viable solution is to place billboards all over town with commercials.

If I do a Google search, I end up bombarded with offers. Is it bad?
Yes.
A Viable Solution for spans and excess of advertisement, is to do the same way roofers do. They belong to a central unit, who receives a call or a search, and place an add to all roofers to contact you to install your roof. However, in order to receive this service, you must to fill out your information and what you are looking for with a central. From that point you will receive emails from people who read your request. This CENTRAL, should be called www.Ineed.dotcom if it doesn't exist. Once you are registered, your past information will be sent to the provider. Your privacy will go down hill as far as services and needs are concerned, yet, it is important to know that all this is important. The central will have your info held into categories, such as health, house maintenance, yard, plants, etcetera. Your email to the center will generate emails concerning your needs. It is a win win game.

So lets vote for a Central ""I need"" to regulate our needs in accordance with our geographical area, our past experiences, our complaints, etcetera.  Lets vote for transparency!

See, I started with a rant and I ended up with a viable solution. Please, do the same about whatever is bothering you.

The Teacher of the Future

The teacher of the future

Let’s for a moment travel to the year 2131 and see what is going on at this time on earth.

For starters, school grounds vanished completely. No more human teachers and no more classrooms. Books will be something of the past. A child at the age of 12 would have never heard of books, and when in contact with one, she will be perplexed by the yellow pages with words that do not move or change, and pictures that remain untouched after weeks and weeks.

School will be at home. The teacher will be a mechanic machine with lights and a screen where any answers can be obtained, lectures can be learned and each and every student will be registered with DNA/eye and print contact. Once registered, each student will be processed with a mechanic teacher, who will be your friend, teacher and the only one responsible for your academics development. Every child will learn the same thing at first, and anyone can advance to different levels or age based on performance. The mechanic teacher is composed of all knowledge existent, and will share it with every student individually. Social time will be within a schedule decided by parents and with the approval of the Center Of Knowledge. It means that once registered a child will be a part of a program, which includes maximum security while learning and complete control of all actions monitored, saved and filed with the Center. Parents will have access to their children during family hours for socialization with family. Children will socialize with (kids) neighbors, through the net and eventually share family time, sleep-over, etc. 

Transportation will be electronically guided. No drivers, but passengers only. Everyone Register with the Census will have a schedule of activities, including working in or out of the house. When out, transportation will be offered to pick up a worker and deliver him to his station. Everyone registered will be picked up at the correct time by the liner. The liner will collect information, addresses and time of starting to work to precisely pick up workers and drop them at their station on the right time. For example: If you work 20 miles away and you need to be there at 9:00 Am, the Liner will pick you up at home, along with other passengers and start delivering them to their appropriated places. A telepathic message will be sent to you to make sure you know where to change liners in case of any disruption, and you can only pass through if you are truly yourself. Our brain will be at its 55% usage, and within 20 years it will achieve a 100% knowledge and usage. At 55% our brain will be connected electronically with various devices to help us to achieve our destination, procreation, evolution and leisure.

Money will be something of the past. Everyone once controlled by the center will contribute with its share of work and be provided accordingly. People will have a bank account with money to spend, but always in form of credit and no paper money. When a human in endowed with various aptitudes, there will be choices, but never time to waste, yet, a deposit will be made for the value of the job done.

Teleportation will be available, but only people with credit can use this privilege.  Credits are obtained in many ways, especially by the mechanic teacher, who would take you to the exact place of study and bring you back.

In summary, the teacher of the future will be a machine. No more school no more friends, no more proms, no more socializing in person, sharing cold, flu etc. Destination will be programmed before any trip and a choice to share a liner will be available, but with credit one can obtain a liner for himself. Cars with drivers are gone. Cars with GPS controlled devices will be the only existent and roads will be programmed to read cars, speed, and anything related to make the trip perfect. During accidents, people will be removed by choppers into their destination. There will be various stations for exchange of liners, but used only when something goes wrong with the circuitry. Every house will have camera built-in in every angle, as well as by satellite. We will be working for one major industry and the main goal is to preserve humanity at all cost. Ah, before I forget,  kids will have their schedule programmed by the computer and they will abide by it because otherwise they will be on time out for at least 10 minutes without action, but sit and wait for the machine to re-set. God will always be a part of our life, even for those who believe in a force. This force will be the only source of happiness and interior peace.

Donate blood now!

Let’s donate blood?

I am not an expert in this subject, and my point will be very simple. Everyone should donate blood 6 times per year. Every town should have a “state of the art” post for collection in mass.

“Every three seconds someone, somewhere, needs a blood transfusion. Blood is always in demand and that’s why we’ve made it easy to donate. Florida’s Blood Centers has facilities throughout the 21 counties we serve and the Big Red Bus is always nearby at local blood drives. We also want our donors and the community to understand the importance of donating; how the blood donation process works; and how blood is used. You can find it all here.”

When my mother had my brother Mauricio, she went into a troubled cesarean, and hemorrhage occurred. My father donated blood directly to her. It was in 1972, and blood transfusion, in a small hospital in the suburbs of Brazil was nothing other than a transfusion. She later recovered, and my father continued donating blood to the same hospital for a while longer. 

I want to donate blood, for I carry the same O positive type as my father. This is not the universal donor, but it is more common. 1/3 of the population carries this type of blood. I have never donated blood because I am gay, and I always considered myself a high risk.

Recently I read that gay people are being banned of donating blood. “Blood donations are down in the U.S. this summer. Gay men have been banned from donating blood because it has been connected to the spread of AIDS. But policymakers are re-examining that ban. The debate has raged among officials, and created a national conversation, as reflected in  CNN.com comments.

I think this is absurd. Gay people also need blood, and I would care less whether I am receiving it from another gay. As long as the blood center is able to refuse or accept based in “lab tests” and not based on opinions.

The average adult has about five liters of blood inside of their body, coursing through their vessels, delivering essential elements, and removing harmful wastes. Without blood, the human body would stop working. Blood transports oxygen from the lungs to the body’s tissue and carbon dioxide from the body tissue to the lungs. Blood is the fluid of growth, transporting nourishment from digestion and hormones from glands throughout the body. Blood is the fluid of health, transporting disease fighting substances to the tissue and waste to the kidneys.

Another point is the fact that women menstruate and lose blood every month, and that blood is replenished, giving the women renewed amount of iron, and other chemicals. It helps with their health, and the proof is that women live longer.

If we share the idea that everyone should donate blood every 60 days, things will be better. Today people are afraid of the needle, and imagine that donating blood is an act of generosity, while it is an act of self maintaining. Others are simply too ignorant and too wrapped up on themselves to understand how good life will be for both parties involved, and for the nation.

I would like to see a study showing the benefit to the blood donor. I know it has benefit.

I want lawmakers to expose this benefit and encourage the entire population to donate blood.

Gay people can donate blood and have it stored in different places for different purpose.

It is stupidity to great a law banning certain groups of donating fluid of life. This is the ultimatum of all absurdity.

The perfect being

Science is knowledge! And as such, it must be taken very seriously.

After I read an article about down syndrome on Wikipedia I discovered that "Individuals with Down syndrome differ considerably in their language and communication skills. It is routine to screen for middle ear problems and hearing loss; low gain hearing aids or other amplification devices can be useful for language learning". ^86] For partial glossectomy (tongue reduction), one researcher found that 1 out of 3 patients "achieved oral competence," with 2 out of 3 showing speech improvement.

Why don't we have all children with down syndrome exposed to partial tongue reduction? If it will better their quality of life. If it may even help with thyroids problem, which of, in consequence brings obesity and all  sort of other problems.

On another related article, it stated that 91–93% of pregnancies in the United Kingdom and Europe with a diagnosis of Down syndrome were terminated.^[73] Data from the National Down Syndrome Cytogenetic Register .
In the United States a number of studies have examined the abortion rate of fetuses with Down syndrome. Three studies estimated the termination rates at 95%, 98%, and 87% respectively.^[73]

Medical ethicist Ronald Green argues that parents have an obligation to avoid 'genetic harm' to their offspring,^[76] and Claire Rayner, then a patron of the Down's Syndrome Association, defended testing and abortion saying "The hard facts are that it is costly in terms of human effort, compassion, energy, and finite resources such as money, to care for individuals with handicaps... People who are not yet parents should ask themselves if they have the right to inflict such burdens on others, however willing they are themselves to take their share of the burden in the beginning."^[77]

 Peter Singer argued that "neither haemophilia nor Down's syndrome is so crippling as to make life not worth living from the inner perspective of the person with the condition. To abort a fetus with one of these disabilities, intending to have another child who will not be disabled, is to treat fetuses as interchangeable or replaceable. If the mother has previously decided to have a certain number of children, say two, then what she is doing, in effect, is rejecting one potential child in favour of another. She could, in defence of her actions, say: the loss of life of the aborted fetus is outweighed by the gain of a better life for the normal child who will be conceived only if the disabled one dies".

This is far too much to digest in a simple page. It seems that science, capable of detecting a fetus with "abnormalities", jumps the gun in selling the tool of "detection" and prevention, forgetting that it needs to fix the abnormality.
For now, science needs to create a device that reverses the entire process of development of the chromosome that carries the abnormality.

Down syndrome disorders are based on having too many copies of the genes located on chromosome 21. In general, this leads to an over expression of the genes. Understanding the genes involved may help to target medical treatment to individuals with Down syndrome. It is estimated that chromosome 21 contains 200 to 250 genes. Recent research has identified a region of the chromosome that contains the main genes responsible for the pathogenesis of Down syndrome, located proximal to 21q22.3. The search for major genes involved in Down syndrome characteristics is normally in the region 21q21–21q22.3

If abortion is ever to be considered legal, from a law point of view, it would bring a pandemonium into people's lives, that can not ever be fixed. To begin, science and abortion will work side by side, eliminating from the face of the earth every fetus that has this or that abnormality. Scientists would become greedy and forget their principal objective, which is prevention of abnormalities by scientific means of resetting the DNA configuration of that particular abnormality.

Science needs to change its gears from corrective maintenance to preventive maintenance. Science now is stagnated in finding how to correct this or that disease, caused by this or that abnormalities. Scientists are more concerned in creating pills. For now science is working side by side with free market or capitalism. 

Science should only be used for the benefit of humans, and not for enrichment of enterprises. 

It is fair to say that scientists are able to manipulate an allele, which  is one of two or more forms of a gene or a genetic locus (generally a group of genes).^[1][2] The form "allel" is also used, an abbreviation of allelomorph. Sometimes, different alleles can result in different observable phenotypic traits, such as different pigmentation. However, many variations at the genetic level result in little or no observable variation.

A number of genetic disorders are caused when an individual inherits two recessive alleles for a single-gene trait. Recessive genetic disorders include Albinism, Cystic Fibrosis, Galactosemia, Phenylketonuria (PKU), and Tay-Sachs Disease. Other disorders are also due to recessive alleles, but because the gene locus is located on the X chromosome, so that males have only one copy (that is, they are hemizygous), they are more frequent in males than in females. Examples include red-green color blindness and Fragile X syndrome.
Other disorders, such as Huntington disease, occur when an individual inherits only one dominant allele.

Science needs to put more effort into modifying the composition of a defected allel. Science needs to get its priority straight.

By now we all - I mean, every individual should have a DNA identification, which would refer to a central global communication for all means related with law enforcement, forensics, and medical. Along with our identification, a daily reading of our blood content would indicate which nutrients are necessary for that day. Science should be more advanced than what it is now. We need good scientists. We need to praise the good ones, who are studying  prevention of abnormalities by manipulating genes, and not those more interested in creating a new pill to make this or that go away.

I am not against progress. I just do not appreciate when progress come in such a high cost for everyone.

By now we should have humans beings immune of any diseases, that can live at least 300 years with only one appearance, perfect weight, and controlled mood, etc. A perfect human being who was perfected to live in this environment by his fellow human, who used science to manipulate genes, creating pure-breads from within hybrids.

Can we get there, finally?

Poverty is at a high of 49.1 million or 16% in the U.S.A

On September 17, 2013 the news announced poverty as being 46.5 Million People

As described in Wikipedia, Poverty is the state of one who lacks a certain amount of material possessions or money.^[1] Absolute poverty or destitution is inability to afford basic human needs, which commonly includes clean and fresh water, nutrition, health care, education, clothing and shelter. About 1.7 billion people are estimated to live in absolute poverty today. Relative poverty refers to lacking a usual or socially acceptable level of resources or income as compared with others within a society or country.

About 25,000 people die every day in the world of hunger or hunger-related causes, according to the United Nations.

This is one person every three and a half seconds, Yet there is plenty of food in the world for everyone. The problem is that hungry people are trapped in severe poverty. They lack the money to buy enough food to nourish themselves. Being constantly malnourished, they become weaker and often sick. This makes them increasingly less able to work, which then makes them even poorer and hungrier. This downward spiral often continues until death for them and their families. - Hunger and World Poverty Sources: United Nations World Food Program (WFP), Oxfam, UNICEF.

….In America, let’s start by:

Improving the quality of education for poor children and education opportunities and incentives, and by Improving opportunities and incentives for poor young females to have children only when they can assure their wellbeing, and by Improving work opportunities and incentives for the poor so they can provide well for themselves and their families..

We need responsible policies and responsible behaviors, starting with each individual behaving more consciously. Every child needs to be educated.

The remedy at this moment is to increase minimum wage to $10.00 across the board and pay for this difference with tax incentives to the employer. Meaning, the employer will not pay for this tab.The remedy is also: America needs to put to rest all time consuming litigations that cost millions of dollars to tax-payers. Put them on the back burner, and let’s deal with things that are far more important, such as poverty and lack of education. Too much money has been spent with paper work and documentation for cases that have once been resolved. We are spending too much time litigating about abortion when we can not even keep up with all children we have alive today. It is such a waste of money, and time.

American Government needs to take a break of outside activities and concentrate in its people at home.

We the People are suffering today more than ever. The absurd increase of the crude oil price in 2008, which can’t ever be explained in detail by anyone, went from $75 per barrel to $145 in a period of six months, oscillating up and down, making the biggest future trading in history, where speculators wanted to buy calls on crude oil and gasoline, and trade every other commodity contract to be a part of the oil trading. It was blamed in the number of refineries that America possess, and the age and condition of each refinery, which was not able to keep up with the demand for gasoline, thus making the oil prices go up, for America buys refined combustive from other countries, such as Venezuela, etc.

A reason given by the news about oil prices increase was all the disruption that was taking place in certain OPEP countries at that time. For whatever reason, the tab was handed to us. Very soon after the record oil price of 2008, food also doubled in price at food stores. Everyone blamed the transportation of goods and materials.  People could not keep up with the increase in prices and with their high mortgage prices. A trip to the supermarket became something painful.

When oil prices wend town, as it did it slowly, gave speculators the chance to take another ride into the volatile roller-coast of oil pricing. The damage to the people was already created, and prices for food went down a small fraction of its increase. People were able to retain less money.  (By the way, we are still talking about poverty here).

The biggest factor of all involves the banking industry and financial institutions. House lenders, in 2004-2005-2006 offered mortgages with monthly payments of 1% to 2% of the price of the immobile. People jumped into buying big houses in large communities  priced at $500.000 dollars and signed their contract for a mortgage– Many chose to pay around $1500 per month to be near the 2% range, and signed a contract for 30 years with mortgage ranging from $1,500.00 to $3,500.00 per month.

These types of mortgages sounded very attractive and a boom in house industry echoed around the country. However, Banks were not able to keep up with their lending because they were not receiving enough deposits to justify it, and little by little it showed its face, bringing house prices down to justify the amount of money that have been invested and the amount of money it will collect. Once revealed, house prices started to decline, to a point where everyone is up-side-down on their mortgages. Those who bought big homes can not keep up with maintenance and utilities bill, defaulting on their mortgage and making even worse for the banking industry to recover its loss. The government pitched in and helped Bank of America and other entities with our tax dollars.

Once housing industry is in decline, businesses in all areas will go to where labor is cheaper. So, a boom in taking your company overseas where labor is cheaper contributed to the job loss we see today.

People are not spending as much money as before; therefore many places go out of business for not being able to stay afloat. Hence, it brings poverty.

Today we have a country with all amenities, but we are not able to afford them. People are losing their jobs, their houses, their income, and their families. Everyone takes xanax or paxil to relieve their anxiety of facing a reality that once was different. Pharmaceutical industry blooms making all sorts of drugs to make one sleep, or stay awake. What to do when you are hungry and there is nothing to eat?

Like I said, we need new policies that encourage teens not to get pregnant – We need to let aside the abortion discussion for one entire year and concentrate in those that are here, and educate them, feed them. Why create so many policies when we are not able to keep our children alive to follow theses policies.

I am sorry to say that the reality is far worse than what we perceive now.

Cuidado com o que voce Twitter - Teen Issues

Quando voce envia um twitter esta mensagem fica exposta ao mundo inteiro. Hoje por exemplo, eu fiz uma busca na palavra banho no twitter, com o objetivo em ler o que se fala sobre banho, pra depois enviar o meu texto: Por que dar pouco valor ao banho? http://miltonlaenearaujo.blogspot.com/2011/01/necessidade-de-um-bom-banho.html  e notei que todos diziam que iam tomar banho pra ir aqui e ali.

Tome cuidado com o que voce deixar aqui escrito sobre o seu dia a dia. Tenho visto celebridades deixarem mensagens sobre aonde estao, o que estao fazendo, como estava a comida no restaurante, e isso e uma isca para um criminoso. Procure deixar o minimo possivel aqui - Use o seu cell phone "text message" pra algo mais detalhado.

Para quem nao sabe o que e o twitter:
Twitter e um servico online de  social networking e microblogging qual faz com que o usuario possa enviar e ler mensagens escritas em forma de texto com menos de 140 palavras ou  characters, informalmente conhecido como "tweets".

O maior problema com o twitter e que em breve ele estara coligado com um systema GPS que dara as coordenadas aonde voce esta fisicamente. Este programa ja existe aqui nos Estdos Unidos, e muito usado no facebook aonde as pessoas enviam mensagens e deixam relatado aonde se encontram, ou em que local estao usando os servicos gratiz de internet.

O cuidado se deve quando ventilar frustracoes atravez deste meio de comunicacao.  Quando voce decide seguir uma pessoa no twitter, voce entao recebera todos as mensagens que esta pessoa twittar. A maioria das mensagens enviadas por twitter hoje em dia sao bobagens e troca de palavras. Ha uma percentagem para negocios, publicacao, etc, etc,

Procure nao deixar relatado aonde voce esta fisicamente - nao chame atencao. Se voce fizer uma busca no twitter sobre qualquer palavra, ou qualquer nome proprio, voce encotrara todos os twitters que usaram tal palavra ou nome proprio. Seja qual for a sua busca, voce encontrara pessoas falando ou usando tais termos neste momento.

Seja cauteloso - voce e o marinheiro de primeira viagem como todos nos, com a vantagem de ser mais jovem, e poder usufruir deste meio com mais frequencia, e por isso tomem cuidado.

The Internet was commercialized  in the 1990s and became an international network due to its popularization and its incorporation into virtually every aspect of modern human life. Coincidentally, at the same time cell phones emerged. Instant messaging became popular and so did texting, which refers to the exchange of brief written text messages between fixed-line phone or mobile phone and fixed or portable devices over a network.

Teens are text messaging at least forty times per day. Today, text messaging has been extended to include messages containing image, video, and sound content, therefore becoming a lethal weapon, and a necessary evil. Defamation, also known as libel is the communication of a written statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual a negative image. Teens are sharing innuendos and defamation on twitter, also, sharing pictures of themselves nude, event worse, videos or anything of self risk.

Teenagers retaliate to groundless criticism with more vehemency.

Just recently, a teenager boy, 18 was arrested for making threats to his girlfriend via texting. After being bailed out of jail, he went back to his high school and killed his girlfriend, 17.

It has become common for teens to " text their anger away"  to whom and where they may. This is not only a teen problem, for it also includes parents of teens who are not up to date with technology, and parents and teens who experience the same technology advance. When parents lack Internet knowledge, teens are free to do whatever they want. When parents are aware of technology, both parents and children get wrapped up into all novelties of technology.

We are living in a society of selfishness. Families are broken and the lack of togetherness has battered the population.

Teens are learning everything virtually.

Internet laws are still trying to mature and gain shape. Whenever we are focusing on one hand-held device, and writing with the other hand, we are ready to ventilate.

 Both parents and teens are NOT in fault today but both need the same schooling, however, this school is in transition, or cannot keep up with technology. Schools of disciplining, and good manners is available online, but doesn't fit with with this change we are about to face.

In the near future schools - or a building for students to meet - will be available, but all classes will be virtual, therefore many will choose to take classes at home. More room for texting -.  Classes will be pre-recorded, and teaching will become a marketing for the fit.

How does one know the damages a text message can cause to another human being? Kids can be very cruel at times. Texting is a weapon that should be used to share information, and NOT to ventilate agony. But teens do it. People use texting to ventilate - or to promote themselves, like celebrities who text and share their whereabouts. This is a tool for a stalker. Yet, celebrities always want to share where they are, what they ate, etc. This is bad. People in general, (This year 2011), share via twitter wherever they are doing - I checked on the word bath just to check what was happening, and most of the people said that they were going to take a bath and go to wherever they were going. This is crazy, for any stalker or killer simply need to follow your messages...
Another teen caused brain damage to a classmate after she texted something related to his brother's suicide. He reacted to his emotions, and did not think.  Like texting - no need to think - whatever comes to mind can go there now!

When we refer to High Schools, they need a cell-phone tower as part of their building. This way any call will be connected with this same tower and communication will be controlled and semi-restricted.

Be careful if you are a teenager. Do not send "hating" text messages, for it can be the only thing the other person may have from you. Written word is immortal, and when used to defame, it can be hard and costly to repair. Be careful if you are a parent. Anything posted in any social media will stay there, and when one human being is exposed by others in a negative manner to the entire world, it is something we have no idea how disturbing can be. In this texting era, where grammar lost its power, and words became a gizmo of letters or abbreviations, is hard to let go off the past, It is hard to embrace an era where words get distorted, and start to live today.

Now we are collecting the fruit of what we planted in our society. It is an almost lost harvest. We can prepare for the next harvest by teaching moral examples to our kids and the truthfulness in the sentence " Treat others as you would like to be treated". Do not text hate messages. to anyone .

1-     Freedom—not only individual liberties, but also freedom from discrimination and freedom from dependence on either the owners of the means of production or the holders of abusive political power;

2-     Equality and social justice—not only before the law but also economic and socio-cultural equality as well, and equal opportunities for all including those with physical, mental, or social disabilities;

3-     Solidarity—unity and a sense of compassion for the victims of injustice and inequality.

Certain things in life, such as home, food, and education need our attention.

To begin with Home – It consists of a residence – Every human being must have a right to own a house. Food – It consists of what we eat – Every human being must have access to food in abundance. Education – It consists of where you are in relation to “all that is”. It means that you are growing spiritually.

By just thinking of certain things, such as home, and food you can travel-on in the idea of a perfect world. Imagine living in a place where you are happy to be a part of that community, and also able to move away whenever you feel it is the right moment. Imagine being fed and sheltered in your existence –

Now when we move to education, things get more complicated. Education means that our body is accepting the environment that has been created, in every-way possible, yet, receiving waves of information from all over. The desire for knowledge persists as a self-instinct to be.

Irreconciliable differences

Irreconcilable differences


I have never heard anything as vulgar as this term: Irreconcilable differences, which is used in all divorce papers.
For me it is nothing more than lack of acceptance.
How can you say that you love another human being when you are not capable of accepting him or her the way they are?
A man has 1000 pieces, and every piece is a person! A person he met, a person he liked, a person he did not like, and so forth and so on. When two people decide to commit, they need to be open for changes.

Luca got married to Sandra, and they had 3 children. Later Luca got involved with drugs and made life a living hell for his family. Sandra left Luca. She got custody of her children. Luca pays alimony. Both are unhappy. Both have jumped from one marriage to another, and both are divorced again, and again.
The children are a mess. They think they are the reason for the divorce, which most of the cases, it is true. Although, most parents swear that their children have nothing to do with their separation, unfortunately, it is not the truth. Sandra is in search of the right man, but now, with 3 kids, she feels impotent. Luca has been in and out of jail. Money gets tight. Sandra takes Luca to court for late alimony. A battle has begun and will last forever. No one will be happy – EVER.

No one is perfect! Can you get it!???

Everyone lies about something! Everyone commits errors, everyone has a luggage filled with 1000 pieces.
Only when we decide to grow spiritually with another human being, all pieces can be unfolded, and all imperfection turns into a learning process.

Life is a learning process, and we can not leave in the middle of the class. We must to be there, and try to understand why things are they way they are.
Yes, people are different, and I am not saying that you have to take it all alone. But with love and understanding you can turn things around.
Luca for example, got into drugs, cheated and lied to Sandra about everything. Luca spent all the money he had earned, and needed more to feed his habit, or addiction. Sandra got fed up!

Wait a minute!

When did it happen? Why did it happen? Who was involved?
Love doesn't mean to go away! Love mans to look for a solution. Love means to stay there and accept what is going on. It could be you! How would you want things to be if you were Luca?

When (referring here to a woman) we make children with a man, we have a link that can not be separated. It doesn't matter how hard it is, it can be mended. Even if you are hurt in the process, look for help elsewhere. Go back to your family and open the book. Tell the truth to your children. Tell the facts. Tell what you saw and what you have heard, and also tell your children that you are lost.

Do not put them aside. Do not use the idea of protecting them. It will backfire. They will grow up, and learn the truth.

So, before you decide about irreconcilable differences take a look at yourself and find what is better for your kids. Do not use your own judgment. Share with them and discover what is better for that moment, but remember that you are not alone to decide it. Use family members, and try to be understanding that people are not perfect.

There are three types of people: Low class people talk about people. Median class people talk about things, and High class people talk about ideas. These are the types, and they infer in our capacity to give and receive love. The full array of human emotions are rarely involved when people talk about people.

If you truly do not care, go ahead and get it over with! You have not loved anyone. You thought you loved a thing, or an idea of a person, but in reality, you were in love with your life style, and the idea of being in love. You are a median type of people, and things are not only things.

All aspects of the past must remain in the past, and a learning process of acceptance must take place. Accept your mistakes, as one accepts mishaps, and learn from them. Learn to love what is imperfect. Open the line of communication now. A divorce is a battle where the only winner are the lawyers.
